Sometimes I wear the director's hat

Frequent Flyers was my NYU thesis film, shot in 2010 on 35mm and co-written by my sister Jess and me.  This film premiered at the 2011 Woods Hole Film Festival, and won several awards at the NYU First Run Film Festival (editing, producing, production design, and sound design).

Written and directed by Matthew Troy, "Frequent Flyers" is a short film inspired by real events when a paramedic is forced to choose between saving his career, or fighting to save a life that may already be too far gone. Shot on location in Connecticut, produced for NYU Tisch Film Advanced Production, Fall 2009. Starring Travis Mitchell, Zephyr Benson, Chris Kies, and Maura Hooper.
